Life's Purpose & Grand Opening
It's been a while since I last blogged, however, I feel extremely moved to blog today.
Do you ever wonder what your actual purpose in life is?
Sometimes, with the way life passes by day by day- It's hard to find your niche, and its hard to be sure if what you're doing is what you were meant to do.
I have some random advice I'd like to throw in here, and I know, It's super cheesy & cliche.. BUT it is genuinely how I feel- God will always guide you in the direction you're supposed to be going, even if it takes days, weeks, or years for him to get his point across, he always does- and there isn't much we can do about it but wait for his plan to unravel for you.. but it is SO worth the wait!
What I feel is my purpose in life sometimes gets pretty cloudy because I'm a huge people pleaser. It's something that is very hard for me to shake personally, and sometimes it gets the best of me and takes over my life.
I'm learning little by little each day that success in life doesn't mean pleasing everyone. It means putting yourself first and filling your own cup- Because after all, you cant pour from an empty glass. Taking time to care for YOU & finding what you want your purpose in life to be can be very challenging, but you can't pass off positive vibes, and make positive changes in your life without taking care of you first.
As for me, I feel like my purpose in life is to help others shine brighter than they did before. To help people understand their value. To help people feel inspired, and beautiful. That is why I love doing what I do. For the few moments you spend in Chic Threads, If you don't leave feeling better than you did when you arrived, I've not done my job the way I want to do my job.
You ladies & gentlemen are all so beautiful and so wonderfully made, and all I want to do is spread so much positivity and love to every single one of my amazing customers!
The Chic Threads Grand Opening was such a huge success, and for that I'm eternally grateful. I'm thankful for all of my amazing customers, all of my friends and family that did, and continue to, dedicate so much time to Chic Threads. They want me to be successful as much as I do. Those are the people you need to be EXTRA thankful for & keep around you.
Before I sign off, I want to leave you with this quote, and challenge:
"Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day."
The day isn't up just yet, I challenge you to be the good in someones day today.
Is someone heavy on your mind? Did your friend or coworker have a bad day? Send them a message and let them know you are thinking of them.
Life is sooo short, so let's take time to love and be there for one another.
